The Ghana Football Association is currently ranked at position number twenty-five on the CAF 5-year ranking ahead of the 2022/23 CAF club competitions.
The rankings are used to determined how many clubs member associations are eligible to enter in the CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederation Cup.
Ghana currently has just 2.5 ranking points at position number 25 and can only enter a club in each of the CAF club competitions for the next season.
The Morocco FA leads the rankings with massive 189 points whilst Egypt are second with 176 points and both associations can increase their points since Al-Ahly and WAC will contest the 2022 Champions League final on May 30th.
The first 12 member associations on the placement enter two clubs in each of the CAF club competitions – a privilege Ghana has not enjoyed since the 2013/14 season.
