Retired FIFA referee Thomas Nunoo is back from Kigali, Rwanda where he attended a three-day CAF/FIFA Technical Instructors seminar.
The seminar which was held from April 3-5,2024 brought together instructors from CAF Member Associations to dwell on issues bothering on the development and training of referees across the continent. The Instructors were also updated on amendments to the laws of the game 2024/2025.
The seminar updated the participants on the FIFA Development Programme and Technical Goals 2024 and the use of FIFA- RED. Others key areas included, Tactical Approach/ Teams Tactics in line with pressing vis-à-vis positioning and reading of the game by referees.
In all, Twenty-nine (29) Technical Instructors drawn from Twenty-nine (29) Member Associations were in attendance.
