Ghana defender Andrew Yiadom was in action for Reading as they recorded 1-0 win against Blackburn Rovers in the English Championship on Saturday afternoon.
The Black Stars right-back was handed a started berth and lasted the full duration of the game.
Josh Laurent’s 78th minute striker was all that Reading needed to pick all three points in their fight for relegation survival.
Yiadom, 30, has made 32 appearances for Reading this season and scored once. He is expected to be named in Ghana coach Otto Addo’s squad for the epic FIFA World Cup play-off clash against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
The Black Stars will first host the Super Eagles at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi on Friday 25th March, 2022 with the reverse leg slated for March 29 in Abuja.
