The Black Stars are set to go head-to-head with five-time World Cup winners Brazil in a friendly which is expected to take place in September.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) postponed the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers to a different date, leaving Ghana the opportunity to book a friendly with the South American side.
Ghana have been drawn against Uruguay, Portugal and South Korea in Group H and a match against Brazil is seen as a way of preparing the side against Uruguay as they are both South American countries.
Brazil will also see Ghana as a good test as they have been drawn against Cameroon in Group G.
The game between the two teams will take place on September 23, 2022 at a venue that is yet to be decided but the Ghana Football Association noted in their announcement that the game will likely take place in Europe.
