Antoine Semenyo has been nominated for the English Premier League Player of the Week award following an outstanding performance for Manchester City against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The Ghana forward delivered a memorable display on matchday 23, scoring his first Premier League goal for City to secure an important win for his side. His impact in the game placed him among the standout players of the weekend.

Semenyo’s strong showing has put him in contention for the weekly honour, where he will compete with Patrick Dorgu of Manchester United, Estevao of Chelsea, Emiliano Martinez of Aston Villa, Mateus Fernandes of West Ham United, and Martin Dubravka of Burnley.

Supporters have been given the chance to decide the winner, with voting open until the close of the day.

The 25-year-old attacker is enjoying an impressive start to life at the Etihad Stadium. He has now scored three goals in four matches, quickly making his mark in Pep Guardiola’s squad as the club pushes forward in its title challenge.

Semenyo’s form continues to excite Ghanaian football fans, with his performances highlighting a bright chapter in his career at the top level of English football.
