Mohammed Kudus is focused on helping West Ham United succeed by scoring goals and winning matches. The team broke an eight-game streak without a win by defeating Brentford on Monday night, but during this tough period, Kudus, 23, didn’t score.
He knows the team has been struggling lately, but he believes they can bounce back. Kudus is determined to do his best to help the team, especially in the UEFA Europa League.
“We’re going through a hard time, but everyone is giving their all. We’re not giving up; we’re still fighting to change things, facing our opponents and creating chances. This is important – when you work to change the situation, it will get better,” Kudus said.
“My main goals are to help the team however I can, win games, and get points. Now that we’re playing in Europe, we want to make a mark like we did last year, and also challenge the top six teams in the league.”
“Yes, definitely [we can win the UEFA Europa League]. Last year, we won the UEFA Europa Conference League, so we have the same mindset and approach for every game. It’s something we can achieve.”
