Western Regional Minister of Ghana, Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah has honoured Ghana’s star player Mohammed Kudus for his explicit and explosive performance and contribution to the Black Stars at the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
The Member of Parliament for Takoradi, honoured the playmaker with a Commemorative Gold Coin Medal on behalf of the Ghana Gold Expo due to his outstanding display in Qatar.


Kudus provided an assist in Ghana’s 3-2 defeat to Portugal in their opening group game and also scored twice in their win against South Korea for Andre Ayew to score the equalizer.
Widely recognized as one of the promising stars of the tournament in Qatar, the Ajax midfielder has now been honoured by the Western Regional Minister.

Due to his performance for Ghana at the World Cup in Qatar, Liverpool FC, Borussia Dortmund among other top clubs are chasing for his signature in January.
