Ghana star Kudus Mohammed has been benched in AFC Ajax Amsterdam game against Liverpool FC at the Johan Cruyff Arena tonight.
The 22-year-old Ghanaian forward’s starting berth has been handed to Dutch-born Ghanaian striker Brian Brobbey in the week five clash of the UEFA Champions League.
Kudus failed to score in his last outing in the UEFA Champions League game against SS Napoli at the Stadio Maradona in Italy.
Despite scoring three goals in four matches this season in the UEFA Elite club competition for the Red and Whites outfit, the Ghana has been relegated to the bench.
In the reverse fixture, the Ghanaian attacker scored a sumptuous goal which won him the goal of the month award at his club.
The game kicks off at 7pm.
