Ghanaian striker Godlove Oppong has completed a 28-day loan move to English non-league side Berkhamsted from Slough Town as he looks to continue his impressive goalscoring form.
The highly-rated forward joins Berkhamsted with a strong reputation after an outstanding 2025/26 campaign, during which he established himself as one of the most prolific strikers in the division.
Oppong enjoyed a remarkable spell with Leighton Town last season, scoring 30 league goals in just 39 appearances to finish among the club’s standout performers.
Across all competitions, the Ghanaian found the back of the net 32 times in 49 matches, underlining his consistency and clinical finishing in front of goal.
His outstanding performances earned him a move to Slough Town, who have now sanctioned a short-term loan switch to Berkhamsted to ensure the striker continues to receive regular playing time.
Berkhamsted will be hoping Oppong’s proven goalscoring ability provides an immediate boost to their attack as they aim for a strong run of results during his month-long stay.
The loan move also offers the Ghanaian an opportunity to maintain his sharpness and continue his development as he seeks to make a lasting impression before returning to Slough Town.
