Ghanaian attacker Jordan Ayew may not be available for Ghana’s world cup qualifier first leg against Nigeria in Kumasi in Friday.
According to football administrator Godfred Akotp Boafo, Ayew will only feature in the second leg in Abuja on March 29.
“Picking up chatter Jordan Ayew will miss Crytsal Palace game and also@ghanafaofficialvs@NGSuperEagles in Kumasi this week. Could return for second leg of #jollofderby in Nigeria.” Akoto tweeted.
Sportsworldghana.com understands that Ayew has coronavirus and will need at least a week to recover.
