Ghanaian striker Peter Agblevor is happy after guiding Police FC to win the Rwanda Heroes Cup title.
Agblevor netted a brace in the second half as Police FC came from behind to beat APR FC 2-1 in a crunch final at Kigali Pele Stadium on Thursday night.
Agblevor mentioned that he is elated with his first trophy in Rwanda as he pushes for more.
“It was a great game as we ended Police FC’s 18-game unbeaten run. I am glad I scored the two goals which won us the title.” Agblevor told sportsworldghana.com.
“This is my first trophy in Rwanda and I believe there are more coming. I will keep doing my best.”
Agblevor, 20, joined Police FC from fellow Rwandan topflight side Musanze FC in January 2024 for a fee of $20,000.
He netted ten goals in the first round of the league before being signed by the Security service club.
