Ghanaian attacker Michael has hinted on why he has signed a three-month deal with AS Kigali.
The striker who is highly eulogized in Rwanda signed a short term deal for the Kigali City sponsored club on Friday and he has revealed the reasons for his move.
“I left my club (Al Nahda) in Saudi Arabia because of salary issues, the club had a financial problem so I cancelled my contract and can’t be home until June without playing. That is why I came here. ” Sarpong stated in an interview with Kigali based Times Sport.
“Definitely I have a couple of options in summer but want to play and be active until that time.”
Sarpong masterminded Rayon Sports league triumph in the 2018/2019 season when he netted sixyeen goals before moving to Yanga SC.
