Ghana target Jeremie Frimpong named in Netherlands senior national team squad

Ghana target Jeremie Frimpong has been named in the Dutch senior national team for their upcoming international friendly games in the next FIFA international break.

National coach Louis van Gaal has included Jeremie Frimpong in the provisional squad of the Dutch national team for their upcoming friendly matches with Denmark and Germany.

The 21-year-old defender of Bayer 04 Leverkusen in Germany, it is his first time making it into the Orange provisional squad of 30 players.

The Dutch national team will play against Denmark on Saturday 26 March in the Johan Cruijff ArenA. Three days later, Tuesday, March 29, Germany will be Orange’s opponent in Amsterdam. Both matches start at 8.45 pm.

Frimpong has previously turned down Ghana call-up to play for the Black Stars.
