Ghana target Kwadwo Duah joins FC Nurnberg from St. Gallen

Ghanaian forward  Kwadwo Duah has joined FC Nurnberg on a long-term contract from Swiss top-flight club FC St. Gallen.

The 24-year-old signed for with Bundesliga II side after passing a mandatory medical examination on Friday 24th june, 2022.

Duah had an outstanding campaign last term with FC St. Gallen in the Swiss Super League where he scored 18 times and provided six assists in 39 matches in all competitions.

The club’s official statement reads “The club has a new striker. Shortly before the start of the training camp (from June 26th to July 3rd in Natz/Schabs) a new face appeared at the Valznerweiher today. The sporting director of 1. FC Nürnberg has signed Kwadwo Duah from the Swiss Super League after he successfully passed his medical check and provided him with a long-term contract.”

The London-born striker, who is eligible to represent Ghana despite playing for the Swiss at the youth levels, was acquired by Max Morlock Stadion outfit in a deal worth €700,000.
“The club has been trying hard for me for a year. I had the best feeling here, that’s why I chose the club. I’m looking forward to the fans, to the stadium and to scoring goals here.” Duah told the club’s official website.
