Tariqe Lamptey has revealed what did the trick for Brighton in their 1-0 away win over Tottenham Hotspur at the London Stadium on Saturday.

The Seagulls maintained their unbeaten run in away games against London teams this season with a 1-0 victory over Spurs having drawn with Chelsea and defeated Arsenal already.

Lamptey revealed that they built on their confidence from the win over Arsenal and it helped them to gun down Arsenal.

“We got confidence from the performance from last week and we dug deep today and every one was fantastic and we were happy with the result. It’s not easy to come to a place like this so we were happy.” He told Londonworld.com

“To be fair we worked on a lot of stuff on the training ground to try and we applied that and replicated that in the game with our pressing because we knew we had to get it spot on if we were to get something from the game.”

“Now we just have to take it game by game and look at every individual opposition and try to do your best in every game and try and get your best from there.”

“They are a top team with World class players all over the pitch so we just had to make sure that we played as a together and try to implement our game plan which eventually brought us the results.” He added.

The 21-year-old right-back has been among manager Graham Potter’s best players so far this season.
