Ghanaian youngster Alexander Junior Amoafo has completed a move to Slovak top-flight side FK Železiarne Podbrezová after impressing during a six-week trial period.
The 18-year-old winger convinced the club’s technical team with his pace, creativity and attacking ability, leading to a permanent contract after successful negotiations with his former club.
Podbrezová General Manager Miroslav Poliaček praised the Ghanaian’s potential, describing him as a talented offensive player with strong technical qualities.
“During his trial, we saw great potential in him. He is a talented offensive player with excellent pace and feels comfortable operating in wide areas,” Poliaček said.
The club has already mapped out a development plan for Amoafo, with the youngster expected to spend the next six months on loan to gain regular first-team experience before competing for a place in the senior squad.
The move marks another important step in Amoafo’s career as he begins his journey in European football and aims to establish himself among Slovakia’s emerging talents.
