Ghana has been invited to compete in the 2022 Africa Cestoball Sports competition slated for Kenya in July.
The sport which was created in Argentina in 1897 is similar to netball and is played both indoors and outdoors as well as on Basketball courts.
The Cestoball African Cup of Nations is scheduled to take place in Kenya from July 7 to July 12, 2022 and Ghana is among the twelve teams who will compete for the trophy.
“Our next goal is to have a continental Cestoball Tournament that will have 12 countries and we decided to hold it in Kenya because it is more central.” Amon Madzvamuse, president of the Africa Cestoball Federation stated.
“We are expecting to have countries such as host country Kenya, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Cameroon, Malawi, Togo, Cote D’Ivoire, Rwanda, Senegal, Mali and Ghana to take part in this tournament.” He added.
