The communications head of the Ghana Football Association, Henry Asante Twum has hinted that Dortmund deputy manager Otto Addo will be appointed as the new Black Stars coach.
There seems to be lots of speculations with the Ghana government said to be fancying former Tottenham boss Chris Hughton for the job but Asante mentioned that at it stands now, they have their eyes set on Addo.
“I have not heard the Sports Minister any where says he want Chris Houghton so as it stands we are going with Otto Addo. We are yet to have a meeting with the Sports Ministry on our choice of coach.” Asante told Starr FM.
Ghana will face Nigeria next month in the 2022 world cup play off and whoever will be appointed would be in charge of the game.
