The Ghana U-15 Boys team departed Accra for Azerbaijan on Wednesday to participate in the FIFA U-15 Boys World Cup and Festival.
The contingent, made up of players and technical staff, will represent Ghana at the global youth festival which brings together talented U-15 sides from around the world for both competitive matches and developmental programs.

The FIFA U-15 Festival is part of FIFA’s Talent Development Scheme aimed at giving young players early international exposure. Ghana will be hoping to make a strong impression in Azerbaijan after months of screening and preparations.
Ghana have been drawn in Group W alongside Uzbekistan, Myanmar, Guam, Bahamas, and Kazakhstan. The team will open their campaign against Uzbekistan on Saturday, October 24, before playing two matches on Sunday against Myanmar and Guam. They will round off the group phase with fixtures against the Bahamas and Kazakhstan on Monday, October 26, 2026.

The format will see Ghana play five group games in three days as FIFA looks to give maximum game time and exposure to all participating talents.
