Ghana Football Association has named Desmond Ofei as the new assistant coach of the senior national team, the Black Stars.
Ofei, who is currently the head coach of the national U-20 team, the Black Satellites, has been rewarded for his impressive achievements with the youth team.
He led the Black Satellites to victory in the African Games and the WAFU Zone B U-20 tournament, showcasing his tactical acumen and ability to inspire young players.
The Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) recently recognized Ofei’s hard work and achievements by naming him Coach of the Year 2024.
He joins John Pantsil and Fatawu Dauda as assistants to Otto Addo.
