Ghana’s U15 national team emerged champions of the 2025 Mondialito Promise tournament after a commanding 4-1 victory over Israeli side Maccabi Tel Aviv in the final.
Coach Yaw Preko’s side were in scintillating form throughout the competition, securing two wins on Day One before continuing their dominance on Day Two. The young Ghanaians began the second day with a 2-0 triumph over Maccabi Petah Tikva and followed it up with an emphatic 4-0 victory against Hapoel Tel Aviv to book their place in the final.
In a rematch of the opening game, Ghana once again faced Maccabi Tel Aviv in the title decider — and proved too strong for the Israeli champions. Robinho Gavi, James Ofori, Ebenezer Adjei, and Abdulai Aziz Issah were all on target as Ghana sealed a well-deserved 4-1 win. Maccabi managed a late consolation, but it wasn’t enough to stop Ghana from lifting the trophy.
The victory underlines the promise and potential of Ghana’s next generation of football talent on the international stage.
