Swiss-born player of Ghanaian descent Kwadwo Duah has rejected a call-up to the Black Stars ahead of the 2022 World Cup playoff against Nigeria, according to report filed by GHANAsoccernet.com.
The St.Gallen forward has been approached by the Ghana Football Association to switch nationality and play for the four-time Africa champions.
Kwadwo Duah, 24, was born in London, England, and moved to Switzerland at a young age. He is of Ghanaian descent, and holds dual citizenship with Ghana and Switzerland.
The Swiss-based striker has rejected the opportunity and wants to focus on playing for Switzerland.
