Teddy Hiadzi has announced Ghana’s landmark achievement as the first African country to host an official Borussia Dortmund International Academy.

The Academy Director expressed excitement as senior officials of the German football giants arrived at the Kotoka International Airport in Accra, marking the formal beginning of the partnership.

According to Teddy Hiadzi, the establishment of the BVB International Academy in Ghana represents a major boost for youth football development and positions the country as a hub for elite football training on the continent.

The arrival of the Borussia Dortmund delegation signals a new chapter in Ghana’s football journey, with the academy expected to nurture young talents using professional European standards and methodologies.

The initiative is anticipated to create opportunities for aspiring footballers while strengthening Ghana’s reputation on the global football stage.
