Ghanaian forward Benjamin Bernard Boateng grabbed two goals Smouha SC in the Egypt Premier League on Sunday evening at home.
The former Elmina Sharks FC forward dazzled for his team as they beat El Dakhleya 4-3 in a thrilling encounter in the Egyptian top-flight.
Hossam Hassan got the opening goal of the match just two minutes into the game before Boateng scored his first goal of the match to put the hosts 2-0 after 21 minutes.
The vsitors got a goal through Allan Kyambadde in the 24th minute to reduce the deficit to just one halfway through the opening 45 minutes of the match.
Three minutes after the half hour mark, Boateng scored the third goal and his second to restore his team’s two-goal advantage.
Sodiq Awujoola got the home team’s fourth goal just before the end of the first 45 minutes of the match to put the hosts 4-1 up.
Samir Fekri on the 71st minute and Abdelaziz El Sayed 87th minute strikes made it a respectable scoreline for the away team as Boateng’s team won 4-3.
The 222-year-old Ghanaian forward has six goals in 22 games for his new club.
