Isaac Nuhu, the talented Ghanaian forward, scored his second goal of the season in the Belgium Pro League, but KAS Eupen suffered defeat against Anderlecht.
The 21-year-old found the net just before half-time to equalize after an early lead from the visitors. Unfortunately, Eupen ended up losing 3-1 at the Kehrwegstadion.
KAS Eupen had a rough start, conceding a goal just sixty seconds into the game when Anders Dreyer scored for Anderlecht. Nuhu leveled the score with eight minutes remaining in the first half.
However, in the second half, the former Belgian champions restored their lead with a goal from forward Luis Vasquez.
Vazquez secured victory late in the game with his second goal, sealing Eupen’s third defeat of the campaign while propelling Anderlecht to second place in the table.
Nuhu has been a standout performer for KAS this season, scoring two goals and providing two assists in the new season.
The highly-rated forward has attracted interest from several clubs in France, with Lorient coming close to securing his signature earlier this year.
