Ghanaian forward Mark Assinor bags brace as Železiarne Podbrezová beat Ružomberok in the Slovakia Super Liga at home.
The Ghanaian attacker lasted the entire duration of the match for his team as they brushed aside their opponents in a one sided affair over the weekend.
Assinor broke the deadlock of the match to put the hosts 1-0 up early in the game with a good finish inside the sixth minute mark.
Marek Bartos scored the second goal for the home team before his countryman Roland Galcik added to the home team’s advantage to make it 3-0 after 42 minutes.
Just before the break, Assinor grabbed his brace to make it 4-0 to the home team who were in a comfortable lead at the break with a scintillating performance.
Marek Kuzma, a Slovak international came from the bench to score the icing on the cake goal to make it 5-0 at full time.
The 23-year-old Ghanaian forward has five goals and three assists in eight matches this season in the Slovakia Super Liga for his team.
