In-form Ghanaian attacking-midfielder Moritz Broni Kwarteng scored the winning goal for his team as they won 3-2 on the road on Saturday afternoon.
The Ghanaian scored a late winner for FC Magdeburg as they went away from home to beat Holstein Kiel to move out of the relegation zone after 20 games with 21 points.
The hosts took the lead after 30 minutes of the match but Daniel Elfadli scored the equalizer for the away team just on the stroke of the half time.
Nine minute into the second half of the match, Jann-Fiete Arp restored the home team’s lead before Herbert Bockhorn made it 2-2 with 20 minutes to go.
Moritz Broni Kwarteng, the Ghanaian grabbed the winner with a left-footed strike from the center of the box into the center of the goal to steal all three ponts for the away team.
The 24-year-old Ghanaian forward has seven goals and two assists in 20 games this season in the Bundesliga 2.
