Ghanaian international midfielder Baba Iddrisu has joined his teammates at Real Mallorca following Ghana’s shocking exit from the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Cameroon.
Iddrisu picked up an injury in Ghana’s 1-1 stalemate against the Panthers of Gabon in their second game of the AFCON competition.
The Ghanaian met up with his teammates at the Antonio Asensio Sports City and trained fully on his return from injury he sustained on international duty with the Black Stars.
The 26-year-old, however is set to continue with his rehabilitation after picking up an injury which kept him out of the Black Stars humiliating defeat to debutants Comoros.
“The extent of his injury is not yet known, “but it does not seem very serious,” said Luis García ahead of Copa del Ray clash with Rayo Vallecano.
