Belgian Challenger Pro League club RWD Molenbeek has completed the signing of Canadian-born Ghanaian forward Kwasi Poku from Canadian Premier League side Forge FC.
Poku, who came through the ranks at the Toronto FC Academy, has joined the recently relegated Belgian top-tier team on a three-year contract after successfully passing his medical exams.
The deal was confirmed by the club’s management via their official X (formerly Twitter) account.
Poku had an impressive run with Forge FC this season, scoring 8 goals and providing 2 assists in 17 appearances during the CanPL 2024 campaign.
Despite representing Canada’s U20 national youth team, Poku remains eligible to play for Ghana at the international level due to his Ghanaian heritage.
