According to rumours in the Portuguese newspaper A Bola, Ligue 1 teams Lille and AS Monaco are interested in signing Ghana international Abdul Mumin.
Both teams are reportedly interested in signing the central defender in the summer after his great performances for Victoria Guimaraes since joining the club two years ago.
Mumin has yet to play for Ghana despite being called up to the Black Stars on several occasions, but the 23-year-old is anticipated to be named in Otto Addo’s squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup later this year.
Lille and Monaco feel that an offer of €8 million will be sufficient to lure the player away from Portugal and into the French league.
The adventurous centre-back has 57 appearances for Guimaraes in all competitions and has been a key member of Pepa’s team since the 2021/22 season, contributing to six clean sheets in the Primeira Liga.
