Ghanaian center-back Charles Baah is beaming with excitement after completing a move to Swedish club GIF Sundsvall.
The highly-rated 19-year-old has signed a four-year contract, marking a significant step in his young career.
Baah, a product of the renowned Attram De Visser Soccer Academy, expressed his joy at joining the Swedish side, describing it as a dream come true.
“It’s a dream come true. I’m thrilled to the bone to be joining this fantastic family. It’s time to put my best in and achieve great things alongside the team,” Baah said.
His transfer comes after a successful trial period, during which he impressed the club’s coaching staff with his defensive skills, physical presence, and ability to win duels.
GIF Sundsvall’s sports director, Joel Cedergren, is confident that Baah has the qualities to thrive in Swedish football.
“Charles is a physical center-back with his strength at the defensive game, specifically at duel and one-on-one games. He has already shown us in the trial that he is receptive to learning and capable of taking orders,” Cedergren noted.
With determination and hunger to succeed, Baah is eager to adapt to his new environment and help GIF Sundsvall achieve success. The club also believes they have secured a future star who will play a crucial role in their defensive setup.
