Ghanaian defender Daniel Amartey has completed a move to Turkish Superlig club Besiktas.
The Black Stars player has joined on a free transfer, signing a two-year contract with the option for a further year.
Amartey became a free agent after his six-and-a-half-year contract with English Championship team Leicester City expired last season. He has now found a new home in Turkey with Besiktas.
The Ghanaian international underwent a medical on Wednesday, July 12, and subsequently signed a contract until June 2025, with the option to extend for an additional year.
Amartey had a successful spell at Leicester City, making more than 106 appearances in the English Premier League since his arrival from Denmark in 2016.
