Ghanaian defender Dennis Appiah says his club Nantes will go to the drawing board and prepare for their impending league game against Lille.
Nantes suffered a 1-0 defeat to Troyes over the weekend and Appiah maintains that they when they host Lille on Saturday.
“We must recognize the merit of Troyes, who had a good match and played better. We were caught from the start, in the duels we had trouble, we had trouble putting the game down. By dint of suffering, we risk conceding a goal and that’s what happened.” Appiah told his club’s media
“We tried to come back, but we had trouble, we were imprecise on the crosses and the balls in the box We will reflect on what we have done and prepare for the Lille match,”He added.
Nantes are 7th on the Ligue 1 log with 42 points from 28 games.
