German-born Ghanaian left back is set to make a return to the Bundesliga following interest from returnees Werder Bremen, acoording to GHANASoccernet.com.
The Willem II defender is eager to move back to Germany following the relegation of the Dutch club.
Werder Bremen, who have been busy early in the market with the signings of Niklas Stark and Amos Pieper, have started talks with the left-back.
Kohn was instrumental at Willem II last season, making 31 appearances in the Eredivisie, scoring a goal and providing an assist.
Having previously played in Germany for Hamburg between 2013 to 2017 and at Bayern Munich’s second team from 2017 to 2020, the 23-year-old is not new to the league.
Derrick Kohn was born in Hamburg to Ghanaian parents and remains eligible to play for the Black Stars despite representing Germany at youth level.
