In Saturday’s Serbian Super Liga encounter at Gradski Stadium, Ghanaian defender Ebenezer Annan shone as Red Star Belgrade secured a 3-0 win over Radnicki Nis.
The fullback was pivotal to his team’s performance, registering his first goal for the club along with an assist.
Annan opened the scoring in the 10th minute by delivering a precise pass to Bruno Duarte, who capitalized on the opportunity to give Red Star an early lead. Merely 13 minutes later, Annan celebrated his debut goal, extending the advantage with a well-timed run and clinical finish that underscored his offensive contribution and growing influence in the squad.
Red Star maintained their dominance throughout the match, with Mirko Ivanic adding a third goal in the 71st minute to seal the win. Meanwhile, Ghanaian players Joseph Opoku and Ibrahim Tanko spent the entire match on the bench for Radnicki Nis.
During his loan spell this season, Annan has already made 26 appearances in the Serbian top-flight, accumulating one goal and two assists—a promising sign for his future contributions to the team.
