Ghanaian centre-back James Asante has completed a free transfer move to Romanian club CS Vulturii from Gilortul.
The 23-year-old defender sealed the move on 27 August 2026, continuing his career in Romanian football after a brief spell with Gilortul.
Asante joined Gilortul from CS Drobeta earlier this year before making another switch, with all his recent transfers completed without a fee.
The Koforidua-born defender, who stands at 1.85m, has gained experience across several Romanian clubs, including CS Drobeta, M. Lupeni and Semper Fi FC.
He has featured in Romanian domestic competitions, including the Romanian Cup and Liga 3 Play-Off, and will now provide CS Vulturii with additional strength in central defence.
The move marks another chapter in Asante’s growing journey in Romanian football as he looks to establish himself at his new club.
