English-born Ghanaian defender Jarell Quansah scored for the second consecutive match as Liverpool secured a 2-0 victory over Wolves on the final day of the Premier League season.
The young England youth international played the full match at Anfield, contributing to Liverpool’s win on Sunday afternoon. This follows his goal earlier in the week against Aston Villa in a thrilling draw at Villa Park.
Liverpool took the lead with Alexis Mac Allister’s goal in the 34th minute. Quansah then extended the advantage six minutes later, scoring his second goal in as many games. With no further goals, Liverpool comfortably claimed all three points.
This victory ensured Liverpool finished third in the Premier League, while Manchester City clinched the title for the fourth consecutive time.
The 21-year-old Quansah made 16 Premier League appearances this season, scoring twice. Across all competitions, he featured 33 times, netting three goals and providing three assists.
