Ghanaian defender Jeremie Frimpong was on target for Germany Bundesliga side Bayer 04 Leverkusen in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday night.
The Dutch-born Ghanaian right-back dazzled for the Red and Black outfit as they beat Norwegian Eliteserien powerhouse Molde on the road.
Frimpong broke the deadlock of the match to put the visitors 1-0 up after just fourteen minutes when his right-footed shot from the right side of the box found the center of the posts.
Four minutes later, Nathan Tella added the second goal of the match to put the visitors in a commanding 2-0 lead before going into the interval.
Emil Breivik scored a sumptuous consolation goal for the home team to make the final score 2-1 but his goal was not enough to stop the Germans from taking all three points.
