He dazzled for Xavi Alonso’s team in their emphatic 5-2 win to progress in the 2023-24 German Cup competition with scintillating display for the visitors.
He provided assist for Amine Adli to score the fourth goal for the away team in their comprehensive win to march on to the next stage of the competition.
The game ended in a pulsating and end-to-end 5-2 win for the Bundesliga leaders who are flying in all competitions this season under Spanish manager Xavi Alonso.
Frimpong is still eligible to play for Ghana’s Black Stars despite his involvement in and out of the Orange of Netherlands national team.
