Morocco is once again Heaven for some African Countries
The shame continues for some CAF member states because they do not have a single approved venue that meets FIFA standards.
The 2026 World Cup in the USA, Mexico and Canada qualifiers kick off in the middle of the month with the first matches being played between the 15th and 18th.
Round 2 will be played between 19th and 21st.
Ethiopia, Burkina Faso, Guinea, Niger, Chad, Somalia and Sao Tome are all due to host their opponents in Morocco.
Ethiopia vs Sierra Leone will be played at El-Abdi Stadium in El Jadida. The same venue will also host Ethiopia vs Burkina Faso.
The Grand Stadium in Marrakesh will host Burkina Faso against Guinea Bissau, Niger vs Tanzania and Niger vs Zambia.
Guinea will play at the Municipal Stadium in Berkane. Also, Somalia will play against Uganda in Berkane.
The Grand Stadium in Agadir will host Sao Tome vs Namibia.
Morocco is now football’s haven for countries that lack approved football venues per FIFA standards.
