VfL Osnabrück has bolstered their defense by securing the services of 19-year-old German-born Ghanaian defender Kofi Jeremy Amoako on loan from VfL Wolfsburg until the end of the season.
The young defender is expected to bring much-needed stability to Osnabrück’s defense, which has struggled to find consistency at the start of the season.
Amoako, who has made two brief appearances in the Bundesliga, is a versatile defensive midfielder capable of playing as a central defender.
He has experience in both the U-17 and U-19 Bundesliga, as well as being a DFB U-19 international, and has already shown his skills by captaining Wolfsburg’s U-19 team and contributing five assists in 21 games.
The young defender is set to join his new teammates for training on Tuesday and is expected to make his debut in VfL Osnabrück’s DFB Pokal game against Freiburg on August 17th.
