Serbian Super Liga side FK Spartak Subotica have confirmed the signing of highly-rated Ghanaian defender Kudu Shama Abdul on a four-year contract.
The 19-year-old makes the move from Ghanaian lower-tier outfit Benab FC, where he established himself as a standout performer with his commanding presence at the back. Abdul was instrumental in helping Benab qualify twice for the Ashanti Regional Division Two Middle League, earning praise for his defensive awareness, composure, and leadership despite his young age.
In announcing the deal on their official website, Spartak Subotica hailed Abdul as a player of “foal blood,” noting his resilience and physical strength as key attributes that will bolster their defensive ranks.
Abdul, who has already featured for Ghana’s U19 national team, has caught the eye of national coaches with his strong positional sense and ability to organize the backline. At Spartak, he has been handed the number 22 jersey as he begins the next chapter of his career.
