Ghanaian defender Lalas Abubakar has lauded MLS clubs for supporting players during Ramadan.
The Colorado Rapids guardsman says the MLS has now grown and clubs give assistance to Muslim players observing Ramadan.
“What the league is doing as well, is incredible. It’s going to show people that Islam is peace. Ramadan is a sacred fast that we do. It is a sacred month that we devote to worship the lord. The league giving us this platform to observe Ramadan is huge.” He told burgundywave
Lalas has made 9 appearances for Colorado Rapids in the MLS so far this season.
