Dutch-born defender of Ghanaian origin Terry Lartey Sanniez says he does not know where his immediate club future lies.
The 24-year-old central defender captained Ajax Under 17, 19, and 21 before signing for NEC in the summer of 2018.
Lartey’s contract at the Dutch second-tier side expires on June 30, 2021 and he is undecided about his next move though he admits he is enjoying his career at NEC.
“Football is never an obligation for me. Not even now that I am a substitute. I am still living my dream ”, he says. “In addition, I knew that my moment at NEC would come. I had to be ready at any time. ”Lartey told Gerderlander
“I think it’s an exciting time. Take my future, I really don’t know which way it is going. It may just be that I sign up. No idea what NEC and other clubs want. It will be fine.”
Lartey has been capped once by the Dutch at Under 21 level and he is still eligible to play for Ghana.
