Black Stars defender, Mohammed Salisu delivered an excellent performance in his debut for French side As Monaco in the French Ligue 1.
After recovering from injury, Salisu was an unused substitute in their mid-week victory against Montpellier. Austrian Gaffer Adi Hutter decided to give the Black Star player his first start at the Roazhon Park against Rennes.
Deployed at the Centre of defense alongside Ivorian Defender Wilfried, the pair remained resolute as they won all three points. The ex-Southampton player was shown a yellow card in the 62nd minutes for a rather reckless tackle.
Mohammed Salisu debut will serve as good news to Black Stars who will soon start preparations for the AFCON in January
