Ghanaian young defender Morrison Agyemang has been named in the Croatian Second League Team of the week following his brilliant performance over the weekend.
The Ghanaian defender was the star man for HnK Sibenik on Sunday 4th August, 2024 when he scored and helped his team to snatch vital away win against NK Osijek in the Croatian Second league, Prva NL.
The 19-year-old center capped his second appearance for the club with a sweet winning goal away to NK Osijek.
Agyemang could soon make mega move to European elite football, having emerged as transfer target for clubs in Germany and Austria.
Ivan Bozic scored to open the scoring for HNK Sibenik in the 8th minute.
However, ten minutes into the second half, NK Osijek restored parity through an equalizer from Marko Soldo.
Later in the game, Ghanaian defender Morrison Agyemang scored to seal a 2-1 win for HNK Sibenik at the end of the 90 minutes.
Agyeman who joined HnK Sibenik from Ghanaian lower tier side Cheetah FC, was adjudged Man of the Match after his splendid performance in his team’s away win.
