Patric Pfeiffer, the Ghanaian international, has finalized his transfer to German Bundesliga club FC Augsburg from SV Darmstadt.
The 23-year-old defender has signed a four-year contract with Augsburg after successful negotiations between the two parties.
Pfeiffer had an impressive season in the Bundesliga II with SV Darmstadt, featuring in 26 matches across all competitions and contributing with four goals and an assist.
He has been performing exceptionally well, averaging 2.3 interceptions per game, which is the second-highest in the league.
With his individual qualities and ability to quickly adapt to systems and tactics, Pfeiffer aims to establish himself as a key player at the WWK Arena.
Although born in Hamburg, Pfeiffer made the decision to represent Ghana at the senior level after officially switching his nationality in July 2022. However, he is yet to receive a call-up to the Black Stars by the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
