Germany-born Ghanaian defender Patric Pfeiffer, scored for the second time in a row as Darmstadt defeated Karlsruher SC on Saturday afternoon.

The central defender netted his 3rd goal of the season to help Darmstadt staged a 2-1 com-back victory in the German Bundesliga 2.

Karlsruher opened the scoring through forward Fabian Schleusener in the 19th minute at the BBBank Wildpark.

Pfeiffer restored parity for the visitors level four minutes after recess as he rose very high to head home a corner-kick from midfielder Tobias Kempe.

The Ghanaian international hit the back of the net again in the 61st minute but the goal was disallowed after a VAR review.

Philip Tietz scored a fine goal to seal a come back victory for Darmstadt.

Meanwhile, Ghanaian defender Stephan Kofi Ambrosius played the entire 90 minutes of the game for Karlsruher with midfielder Braydon Marvin Manu enjoying 73 minutes for Darmstadt.

Pfeiffer has now netted 3 goals in 10 appearances in the German second-tier this season. He has, however, been booked three times.

The 23-year old central defender is waiting for his first Ghana national team invitation since switching international allegiance from Germany.
