Ghanaian defender Patrick Kpozo has been named in the Moldovan Super Liga team of the week after an outstanding display last weekend.
The Black Stars left back was impressive in the team’s 1-1 drawn game with Petrocub on Sunday to help his side maintain its status at the top of the log.
The former Inter Allies defender lasted 64 minutes of the game, which saw Nigerian striker Origbaajo Ismaila scoring injury time equalizer after Victor Mudrac had shot Petrocub in front in the game.
In that same game, his compatriot Razak Abalora last the entire duration for Sheriff.
