Vitesse has strengthened its squad with the arrival of Dutch-born Ghanaian defender Solomon Bonnah.
The 22-year-old right-back joins on a free transfer from Austria Klagenfurt and has signed a two-year contract in Arnhem.
Bornah, born on August 19, 2003, in Amsterdam, progressed through the youth academies of Zeeburgia and Ajax, after which he moved to RB Leipzig. In Germany, he made his debut in the Bundesliga and Champions League before signing with Austria Klagenfurt in the Austrian Bundesliga in 2022.
The energetic wing-back played over sixty matches in Austria's top flight, scoring four times. Now he returns to the Netherlands.
Solomon Bonnah himself is looking forward to his time in Arnhem: "I'm happy to be here and can't wait to play for Vitesse. I want to continue developing myself and achieve great results with the team."
